Welcome to the Barcode Generator for PHP webpage.
Barcode Generator is a program which able you to generate barcode images from well-known barcode formatting standards. Many versions are now available to generate it by a webpage or a program.
Currently Barcode Generator supports the following barcode format standards: Codabar, Code11, Code39, Code93, Code128, EAN-8, EAN-13, GS1-128 (EAN-128), ISBN, Interleaved 2 of 5, Standard 2 of 5, MSI Plessey, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC Extension 2, UPC Extension 5, and PostNet. For 2D Barcode, PDF417, Aztec, and QRCode Barcode are supported.
What can you do with generated barcodes for PHP? You can use them to create online movie theater tickets, online rebate, etc.
The output images generated have been tested with a barcode reader device to confirm that they are correctly generated.

- (Apr 7th, 2010) First update for QRCode, it fixes a bug that could happen when you switch between tables (numeric to alphanumeric and vice-versa), and now supports the FNC1, ECI and Structure Append.
- (Mar 22nd, 2010) QRCode is now part of our supported barcodes. This popular barcode can hold a lot of information in a single code.
- (Feb 13th, 2010) Many customers asked us if we could support GS1-128 (EAN-128) in our future versions. This is now supported in our new version! Follow the help page to understand how to use it.
- (Nov 8th, 2009) A new version is now available for Barcode Generator for PHP. The new functionalities are the following:
- Set a DPI (dot per inch) for the images before saving
- Change the rotation of the barcode
- Specify the exact table you wish to use for Code 128
- The default beginning table for Code 128 is now chosen automatically
